Mortgage

  • Title deed
  • A letter from the mortgagee bank and the presence of the authorized person from the bank
  • For Power of Attorney, original title deed notarized from the court or Ministry of Foreign Affairs if it is outside the country, not more than two years
  • Three mortgage contracts certified from the mortgagee bank

Land department Fees 

  • 0.25% of the mortgage value + AED 290 as knowledge surcharge

Registration Trustee Fees

  • AED 4,000 + AED 200 (5% VAT) if the property value is AED 500,000 or more
  • AED 2,000 + AED 100 (5% VAT) if the property value is less than AED 500,000

Mortgage Discharge Request

  • Original title deed
  • Owner original passport + copy 
  • Emirates ID
  • Original letter from the mortgagee for redemption
  • Both original mortgage contracts (does not require the presence of the owner)

Land Department Fees

  • AED 1,000 for mortgage discharge
  • AED 290 as knowledge surcharge for each fee

Registration Trustee Fees

  • AED 300 + AED 15 (5% VAT)

Mortgage Adjustment

  • Original title deed
  • Passport copy of owner
  • Original mortgage contract
  • A letter from the bank indicating the new duration with the presence of the authorized signatory of the bank
  • Three new mortgage contracts certified and signed by both parties

Land Department Fees

  • AED 1,000 to modify the mortgage period
  • 0.25% of the new mortgage value
  • AED 290 as knowledge surcharge

Registration Trustee Fees

  • AED 300 + AED 15 (5% VAT) if amended was on the date
  • AED 2,000 + AED100 (5% VAT) if amended was on the value
